These records discuss the operations of the Frozen Custard Corporation, including the expansion of operations into Birmingham, Montgomery, and Mobile, Ala. See especially the 1931 July 21 letter indicating some shareholders. Routine business correspondence, inventories, as well as discussion of sales, problems with incorporation, and many other subject were discussed. Charles B. Crow handled most problems concerning expansion in Ala., and authorized the checks. The Montgomery branch was known as the Montgomery Frozen Custard Co. The same was true for Mobile. The 1931 June balance sheets for the Birmingham operation is of interest, as is the 1931 July balance sheet for Montgomery. The primary correspondents included F.S. Parrigin from Montgomery, Charles B. Crow from Birmingham, R. Voigt, accountant, Walter Will Bankhead, attorney; T.W. Crow and W.W. Fagg to buy freezers for the branches, S.G. Vaughan regarding the reduction of expenses needed in Birmingham, and W.C. Petree about resuming the Montgomery operation.
